Today, Hong Kong faces many different challenges: an ageing population, a widening gap between the rich and poor, depression among the young generation, a rising divorce trend, an unstable economy, etc. But Hong Kong is not alone. Other countries share the same problems. This series looks at the following five places: Venice in Western Europe, Japan in Asia, Norway in Northern Europe, New Zealand in Asia Pacific, and Chile in South America. The real life cases in these different countries and how people there tackle the challenges are good references for Hong Kong in facing similar problems.
